M & L CONNECT (Open to all majors)

College is about more than earning a degree – it’s about building the connections that shape your future. This fall, we’re excited to launch M&L Connect – an initiative designed to help you make meaningful connections.

The mission of M&L Connect is to facilitate intentional connections – among peers, with faculty, industry professionals, and the community – and to foster personal growth, collaborative learning, and career readiness for students in the Management Department. Whether you’re just starting your journey or preparing to graduate, M&L Connect offers opportunities at every stage, from freshman year through graduate school.

IGNITE

This career development program was created for students to improve their interviewing skills, to provide networking opportunities, and to connect students with potential employers. IGNITE was originally conceived for majors in the Department of Management and the Department of Marketing, but it has been expanded to include all departments and majors in the Jones College of Business (JCOB).  JCOB majors can join IGNITE and earn a certificate while completing career development activities. INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE SHOWCASE-SPRING 2026

WHAT:  A contest to examine a current business challenge and a poster display of creative and novel ideas to solve the challenge. 

WHO:  for Jones College of Business majors and minors

  • The Supply Chain Management Career Fair has been combined with the BEST career fair.  BEST is bigger than ever, with more companies and more available jobs!
  • BEST Career Fair schedule
  • Headshots for LinkedIn Profile will be available throughout the day.
  • Recommendations for students:
    • Wear professional attire (business formal)
    • Bring several copies of your resume

2026 MTSU Midsouth Supply Chain Summit 

March 4, 2026  – Multiple rooms in Student Union – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

We are pleased to announce that the fifth annual Supply Chain Summit has been scheduled.  Come hear from industry representatives as they lead in-depth discussions on a variety of relevant supply chain issues.  This event is sponsored by the MTSU Supply Chain Management student organization.

Keynote session: 9:40 am to 11:00 am 

Lunch break: 11:30 am – 12:45 pm

Institute of Leadership of Excellence
The Institute of Leadership Excellence is a leadership development course for undergraduate students. This unique immersion experience is held during the May S1 term. For more information, visit the ILE webpage.
